Identification: A large brown skipper with heavy orange overscaling; forewing with group of three large translucent gold spots. Life history: Not reported. Flight: April-May and October-November in South America. Caterpillar hosts: Not reported. Range: Costa Rica south to Brazil. A rare stray in southern Texas. |
