Identification: Upperside of male blue; female whitish-brown. Underside of male dark gray-brown; female gray.

Life history: Not reported.

Flight: Many flights all year in Mexico; September-November in South Texas.

Caterpillar hosts: Probably plants in the pea family (Fabaceae).

Adult food: Flower nectar.

Habitat: Tropics.

Range: Colombia north to Mexico; three strays recorded in South Texas.
