Euscirrhopterus Grote
The genus Euscirrhopterus is a loosely related group of species recognized by the following characters: 1. Forewing (except in the male of poeyi) with a distinctive combination of a dark brown background color with a prominent, white stripe. 2. Front of the male head greatly constricted between the eyes (except in gloveri) 3. Tufts of scales on abdominal segment 1. 4. Cauadal and cephalad halves of each abdominal tergum of differentcolor with a median extension of the caudal half projecting through the distal half of the tergum to the distal margin of the sclerite. 5. Juxta consisting of two thin, parallel bands joined at the base by a triangular or round knob-like structure. 6. Apex of aedoeagal shaft projecting as two denticulate bands,
