Condica is a large genus found mostly throughout the tropical and subtropical regions of both the New and Old Worlds. In the Nearctic region most of our species (but certainly not all of them) are tropical or subtropical reaching the northern reaches of their distributions in the southern United States.

The descriptions of the subfamily Condicinae and the tribe Condicini are based on the genus Condica. Please visit either of these pages for the characters defining Condica.
