Fishbase is the most complete and authoratative resource on the sharks of the world. The site is database driven and does not allow browsing. You will have to know the name of the shark you wish to find. As an adjunct you may wish to open in a separate browser window

Fiona's Shark Mania. This site contains a large and eclectic collection of information about sharks. Images of sharks range from photographs to cartoons. There is also a large collection of links to other shark sites. This is probably the best web site to get access to a wide spectrum of shark related information.

Introduction to the Chondrichthyes. University of California Berkeley. Museum of Paleontology. A great introduction to the Chondrichthyes, although with a strong paleontological emphasis.

Ichthyology at the Florida Museum of Natural History. Sharks. A field key to the species of sharks found along the Atlantic coast.

The Pelagic Shark Research Foundation. This is a great site for information on pelagic sharks including anatomy, evolution, biology, photographs, and conservation.

The Great White Shark. Douglas Long. This site contains photographs and extensive information on the Great White Shark.
