Bat Conservation International. The best bat site on the web. This site has pictures of many, if not most, species of bats in North America. Additionally, information on bats in general, a bibliography, conservation, and links to other bat sites may be found here.

Bats Bats Everywhere. Bats4kids. A wonderful site about bats for kids with games, puzzles, quizes, facts, photographs, and much more. Be sure to visit this site.

The Bat Cave. Royal Ontario Museum. We are violating our rule about only North American animals here, but this is such a great site we couldn't help ourselves. The site is a reconstruction of a bat cave in Jamaica. Learn about each of the bats found in the caves. There are lots of great pictures with interesting information about each species of bat. You'll also find a lot of interesting facts about bats in general and the myths and legends that surround bats as well as the truth behind the stories.

You'll find all sorts of interesting information about bats including the types of bats, how they fly, ecolocation, and much more. The site has a number of activities including bat watching and building a bat house. You'll even find bat art and games and puzzles. Recommended.
