   The Bear Den. Bear Taxonomy Advisory Group. This site covers the bear species of the world. It includes photos and descriptions of all the bear species of the world (including North America) along with information about their biology, distributions, diets, reproduction, etc. This site also has links to conservation organizations dealing with bears as well as a gallery of bear photos and a list of books about bears.

International Association for Bear Research and Management. This site contains pictures and information about the biology, appearance, diets, reproduction, and social systems of the bear species of the world (including North America). Information about the Association and the status of bear conservation is also included.

Grizzly Bear. Craighead Environmental Research Institute. Information on the grizzly bear (brown bear) including data on its biology, distribution, and genetics.

North American Black Bear Center. This association's web pages contain a great deal of information on the black bear including photographs, sounds, frequently asked questions, and bear conservation.

Polar Bears Alive. This is a conservation organization. Their web site includes facts about polar bears, a gallery of pictures, and conservation of the polar bear.
