Sciurids

The family Sciuridae contains the marmots (groundhogs, woodchuck), prairie dogs, squirrels, and chipmunks.

The Chipmunk Place. Dennis Owca. I don't know about you, but chipmunks are just about our favorite animal despite the devastation they do to our yard. How can you hate anything this cute. This wonderful site has basic information about chipmunks, their diets and biology, and a gallery of photographs of the chipmunks of North America. Highly recommended.
