The phylum Mollusca is divided into six extant classes. Three of these
classes have separate pages devoted to them, while the three smaller classes
are dealt with below. This page also contains the sites with information
crossing class boundaries. The six classes are:
AMPHINEURA - Chitons

Conchologists of America. This site contains general information and some
photographs of marine, freshwater, and terrestrial Mollusks. The information
is somewhat eclectic.

for the world wide shell collector.
Eddie's
Shell Catalogue. An illustrated catalog of one person's collection
of world wide shells. This site is still in construction. Some North American
species are illustrated.
World Wide Specimen
Shells. This is a commercial site for the sale of world wide shells,
but it has many nice photographs. Primarily not North American.
