Southwestern Cacti. Andrew Cooper. An absolutely great site on the cacti of the southwestern United States including photographs and information about a wide variety of species. Highly recommended.

Phoenix Tropical Gardens. Philippe Faucon. This site seems to have the most comprehensive collection of photographs and information on the cacti of the world. From the menu on the left choose Succulents and then find the genus you are looking for from the alphabetical list of genera. A great site and highly recommended.

Biota of North America Program - Cactaceae. Distribution maps by state for the Cactaceae of North America.

Cactus of El Paso, Texas Region. Clark Champie. A great site with short descriptions and photographs of cacti from the El Paso region of Texas.

American Desert Plants, Inc. This commercial site has photographs of a myriad of plants found in the southwestern United States.

The Cactus and Succulent Plant Mall. The ultimate site for cultivated cacti and succulents and links to other cacti sites. There is also a gallery of photographs with a short description of the species' habitat, range, and cultivation.

Cactus and Succulent Whatzit Page. Elizabeth Mann. At this site you can submit a photograph of a cactus or other succulent and try to get it identified by other viewers of the site. Primarily oriented to cultivated cacti.

Associazione Italiana Amataori delle Plante Succulente. This Italian site has galleries of cacti and other succulents photographs. The photographs are very good, but you cannot tell where in the world each species occurs or whether the species is North American.
