Weed Science Society of America. This site has a gallery of about 200 common American herbs, plants, and weeds. It also has access to the WSSA Composite List of Weeds and documents on noxious weeds.

Invasive Plants of Natural Habitats in Canada. Environment Canada. A very extensive document on invasive alien plant species of natural habitats of Canada. With a general introduction to the topic and detailed discussions of each invasive plant species, with figures and distribution maps.

Invasive Species. Biota of North America Program. A list of state records for invasive weed species. You can search the database by common or scientific names. You can also look at lists by state.

Noxious Weeds of USDA-APHIS in GRIN. This site has a list of the world's plant species considered noxious weeds by APHIS, the government agency with the responsibility of keeping these potential weeds out of North America.

Noxious Weeds Home Page. USDA, APHIS Plant Protection and Quarantine. This site has information about APHIS PPQ policies and plans. It also has a series of documents on the control of several North American weed species.

An Illustrated Guide to Arizona Weeds. Kittie F. Parker. A great resource if you live in the southwestern United States. Each weed species has information about it and an illustration. You'll also find a bibliography of papers on weed species and a glossary of terms.

Introduced, Non-native Plant Species in Colorado. Colorado Weed Management Association. This site has photographs and information on the non-native plant species of Colorado (non-native to Colorado, not necessarily North America).

Invasive Non-indigenous Plants of Florida. Center for Aquatic Plants. Photographs and information of some species of invasive, non-indigenous Floridian plants.

Florida Exotic Pest Plant Council. This site has a list of the non-indigenous, invasive plant species in Florida as well as a guide to control with herbicides to download in Adobe Acrobat format.

Native Plants of South Florida. Doug Scofield. This site has pictures and some information on the native plants of southern Florida. It also has traditional herbal uses for some of the species and a special section on invasive exotics.

Weed Images and Descriptions. Rutgers Cooperative Extension. Descriptions and photographs of numerous weed species in New Jersey.

Sea Grant - Exotic Species. University of Minnesota. Some information on exotic aquatic plants as pests.
